Young, M.D., M.P.H. earned his bachelors degree from New College and degrees in both medicine and public health from Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of  Public Health. Dr. Young  trained in internal medicine at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and continued training in cardiology at  Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and Tufts-New England Medical Center. In 1985, he was elected to Fellowship in the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Young who is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, directed the coronary care and telemetry units at MetroWest Medical Center from 1986 to 1991and educational services at the Framingham Heart Center from 1991 to 2001.
