Untitled Document Howard A. Sussman, MD. F.A.C.C. completed his undergraduate studies, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, at University of Connecticut in 1970. He graduated from the  State University of New York Health and Sciences Center in Syracuse, New York in 1974, with distinction. He completed his internship and  residency in Internal Medicine at Boston University Hospital in 1977. His cardiology fellowship training was at Boston University Hospital from 1977- 1979. He was an Assistant Professor of  Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr Sussman is the Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation program at MetroWest Medical Center. Dr. Sussman’s clinical specialties include non-invasive cardiac testing, pacemaker implantation and follow-up, coronary and valvular heart disease, coronary  risk factor reduction, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac management of multiple sclerosis chemotherapy, congestive heart failure, and arrhythmia management. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is a  Fellow of The American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.
