Untitled Document Patrick J. Blomberg, MD received his undergraduate degree from Holy Cross College in Massachusetts. He attended medical school at the State University of  New York in  Stony Brook.  Dr. Blomberg completed his internship and residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston.  His fellowships in general cardiology and electrophysiology were completed at Tufts-New England Medical Center in 2002.  Since joining the staff of MetroWest Medical Center in 2002, Dr. Blomberg has served as the director of the hospital’s electrophysiology laboratory.  He also remains on staff at TUFTS-New England Medical Center where he is an assistant professor of medicine and participates in the training of cardiology fellows.  Dr. Blomberg’s clinical practice is focused primarily on the treatment of abnormal heart rhythms.  He performs a variety of procedures including ablations and the implantation of both pacemakers and defibrillators.  Dr. Blomberg is board certified in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology.
